Hi All,

I want to let you know about the Library Freedom Institute. It is a new, privacy-focused collaborative program between New York University and the Library Freedom Project.

The Library Freedom Institute (LFI) is a privacy-focused six-month program for librarians to teach them the skills necessary to thrive as Privacy Advocates; from installing privacy software to influencing public policy. It is a free program which will take about 5 hours per week of work. All instruction will be done online with the exception of a single weekend in New York for in person instruction. Applications for this program are due by Feb 1 2018. Check it out!

Chuck
