Hey there ITS'ers!

Our exec board is finalizing all the details now, but I wanted to send out a sneak peek of our ITS Spring One-Day Conference - You Can Do I.T.!: Technology Training to Empower your Library Colleagues! This conference takes place on Friday, June 8 starting at 9:30am at the Portsmouth Public Library. 

We are excited to welcome Cindy Fisher, Library Technology Consultant at the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. Cindy has over ten years of experience teaching technology to adults of all ages as both a Teaching Fellow and a Learning Technologies Librarian. During this workshop, we’ll review different teaching approaches, techniques, and resources, tested in the field with participants of the You Can Do I.T. program. In the afternoon, we’ll put theory into practice with small group hands-on tech teaching and discussion. 

Registration fee is $50 for members and $65 for nonmembers. Lunch will be included! But will there be a tour of the Portsmouth Public Library? Yes! Fabulous tech raffle prizes? Maybe...oh, alright - YES!
