Job Posting: Head of Technical Services – Woodbridge Town Library
The Woodbridge Town Library is seeking a creative, energetic and detail-oriented professional librarian to head our Technical Services Department and serve as a key member of the library’s management team. This position is responsible for overseeing all services provided by the Technical Services Department, including acquisitions, cataloging, processing and maintenance of all library materials. Personally performs all cataloging and classification duties and supervises a staff of two part-time assistants. Position may staff service desks as needed.
A Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program and cataloging experience is required. A strong working knowledge of bibliographic maintenance standards and public library experience is preferred. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits at 35 hours per week. Salary range at $57,000 to $61,000 per year, depending on experience.
