Are you part of a union?

We are looking into Unions.  Does you Library belong to a union?  If so, which union?  Do you recommend or do not recommend?

Being  retired now, I still will state that having a union in the

government sector — state, local, and yes federal — is essential.

Mass. State university sector, Mass. Teachers Union/ NEA.

Whether private sector or government, workers need to stand together 

in a democratically run union that negotiate wages, etc.
