Dear colleagues,
My name is Jason Soohoo. I am a Research & Instruction Librarian at the Salem State University Library in Salem, Massachusetts and I am a Visiting Associate Professor for the Library Media Studies Program at the McKeown School of Education (MSOE) at Salem State University. I am also chairing a Search Committee for our full-time, tenure track faculty member in Library and Media Studies. The Masters of Education in Library and Media Studies at Salem State is a fully online program that prepares and licenses graduates to become PK-12 librarians and administrators. It is also consistently one of the largest graduate programs in the university, with a strong alumni network working in school libraries throughout the state.
I am writing to you with the hope that you can share our job opening with your colleagues and professional network. We are eager to attract a strong and diverse pool of candidates. We believe that this colleague, in addition to shaping and teaching in the LMS program, will be a critical and valuable addition to the Department of Secondary and Higher Education and the MSOE as a whole.
Here is the posting about the position and the application instructions: Faculty: Secondary and Higher Education, Library and Media Services, Full-Time, Tenure-Track, AY 2026-2027 -
Warmly,
Jason Soohoo
