Hello,

Early bird registration for the conference is open through July 8th:  https://www.arsl.org/2026-conference-registration

And here is an excellent opportunity to learn more AND help with some of your conference costs...

NNLM Professional Development Award

The Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) is offering a Professional Development Award to help rural and small library staff attend the 2026 ARSL Conference in Montgomery, AL. Selected recipients receive up to $1,500 to cover registration and travel — including a spot in the pre-conference session where attendees can earn Consumer Health Information Specialization (CHIS) continuing education credits. (https://www.arsl.org/2026-preconference-workshops)

The award is open to library staff across the U.S., with preference given to those at rural and small libraries. Up to 20 awards are available.

Application deadline: June 15, 2026

If you have already registered, excellent! Let me know if you would like to get connected to other local library folk attending, and I'll start an email group. As we get closer to the event, Whova will be available as a way to connect as well.

Let me know if you have any questions, or if any of the links I provided aren't working. I am here to help.

Enjoy the day today.

Sincerely,
Amy Stone
