Hello,
My name is Jared Wheelock, and I own a 68-acre property in Uxbridge, MA, with about 80% wooded terrain and 20% open fields. The land has a mix of trails, forest, and open space, making it ideal for mid-scale sized recreational events.
Recently, I hosted the 7th round for the New England Championship MTB XCO Series (RACEDAY XC) with roughly 250 cars on-site and 15 sponsor tents, and 25 campers which in total only occupied about 30–40% Max of the available field space. The event was very well received, and the 200+ riders participants loved the XC track and central Ma location.
I am motivated to host additional outdoor athletic events and have always admired MTB/ CX / Trail running tyle events. I’d love to explore opportunities to bring more races of varying displines to my property.

•       5 miles of maintained forest trails + additional wooded acreage
•       Mix of fields and woods for course design, parking, vendor/sponsor space

This reminds me, I have been meaning to ask people -- there are no cyclocross events in New England right now on BikeReg for November 8-9th.  Is that accurate?  Has the former Noho CX weekend gone completely unclaimed?

If so -- I know a guy who has all the equipment and experience you would ever need to help run a race at this place in Uxbridge on one of those days, but he's too busy running three other cyclocross races this fall to take the lead on such a project ;)

Maybe move away from a state park for Secret Squirrel or F50.

Thanks for sharing this Alan, 

These are the connections we need to foster and keep looking for to keep CX and bike racing in general strong in New England.

I will have to opt out for this year, the thought of moving my circus 100 miles way to another venue for a weekend is not in my business plan as of now.  I am always open to suggestions and ideas like this one.
