All Northeast Officials,
As you see, Meg has posted GMSR in the assignment tool so you can request assignments. An important note; due to ongoing construction in Burlington, the Crit will take place on Saturday at another venue (which looks really cool!) and the Randolph Circuit Race will take place on Monday. So even though we still need about 20 officials for the “queen stage” on Sunday, the next biggest crew of ARs and motos will be on Labor Day Monday, not Saturday.

Meg sprained her wrist so she just rang me up and asked me to type this for her…
Gary had a test race at the track that he hoped to use and found it was too small (that is why he tested it!), so he moved the criterium to another venue and moved the crit back to Monday. You can read the details here. In short, the Randolph Circuit Race is back on Saturday and the criterium is back on Monday, but the crit will be about 1:25hrs south of Warren at a race track at the Canaan Motor Club. This makes it a lot closer to the rest of New England (here it is on the map) so this change should make it closer to home on Monday for most of you.
Meg just changed the Assignment tool to say “Stage 2- Circuit Race” on Saturday and “Stage 4- Criterium” on Monday, but she left everyone’s original requests for those days. You may want to go into the tool and adjust your requests!
The cut-off for requests will be Sunday night, 6Jul. We hope to do the assignments by Wednesday, 10Jul, but that depends on how much begging we have to do, so please request! As usual, Sunday is the big day for our crew!

Meg is still nursing her wrist (get well soon, Meg!) so I am sending this final reminder to sign up for GMSR. Final deadline will be noon Wednesday.
Remember the crit is now in Canaan, 1.5hrs from Waitsfield (and even farther from Burlington). You may want to adjust your requests!
We could use a few more ARs (in cars) for the RR on Sunday. Also, if you have preferences of any kind, it helps to tell us. For example, if you signed up for a day because you are such an awesome team player, but you would really rather be drinking beer with your family that day, we’ll prioritize accordingly rather than agonizing over how to be the most fair and efficient!
