Dear ETD Professional/Researcher,

As you are aware, the INFLIBNET Centre is spearheading the Indian  ETD repository named Shodhganga which is having contribution of 4.5 lakh theses in open access mode.. We are honoured that the NDLTD has entrusted the INFLIBNET Centre to organise 26th International Symposium, ETD-2023 in association with Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (NDLTD), USA at INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India from 26th - 28th October, 2023. The concluding day will be in the vicinity of the World’s Tallest Statue at Kevadia, Gujarat. The Symposium is organized annually on ETD themes at International level attracting a large number of participants from Universities and Institutions across the world.

The main Theme of the Symposium is “ENRICHING ETDs AND THEIR REACH” with the Sub-Themes as Managing ETDs, ETD Metadata Lifecycle, ETD and Open Science Research Data Repositories (RDR), Case Studies and Best Practices etc. 

The registration is open as well as paper submission interface (please see end of this mail). We look forward to you to contribute a research papers related to ETDs in the symposium. Selected papers/posters and invited papers will be presented during the Symposium as well as published in print Proceedings/Journal. For developing countries, partial travel grant schemes are also available to present papers. 

Deadline for extended Abstract Submissions : 15th May 2023

Notification of acceptance                              : 30th June 2023   

Deadline for Travel Grant Proposals              : 15th July 2023

Deadline for full conference paper                 : 15th August, 2023

An extended abstract in about 800-1200 words containing research objectives, data and methodology, and key findings should be submitted online on the Conference portal by 15 May 2023. Communication about the acceptance of abstracts will be sent by 30th June, 2023. Full papers of accepted abstracts are to be submitted by 15th August, 2023. Exceptionally, applicants need not be from developing countries, but must demonstrate need of financial support. The deadline for the application is July 15, 2023.
