The 2025 Open Repositories Conference (OR2025) will take place at the University of Chicago in less than two months.  Registration is still open.  If you would like to stay at UChicago Housing during OR2025, relevant information is available online.  This video provides an excellent preview of the UChicago (Hyde Park) neighborhood.
