NDLTD Basics: Participation and Consortia Work

Hello,

Our institution, North Dakota State University, has recently revitalized the Digital Repository and associated digital scholarship. We have nearly completed a major upload project for recent, born-digital theses and dissertations (2011-present). Our university will also begin uploading digitized theses and dissertations from our print collection starting this summer (2010 and previously published documents).

We were interested in learning more about NDLTD and other ETD groups; participation standards in these groups; and possible consortia work that will allow us to make our theses and dissertations more visible to universities nationally and eventually worldwide.

While this may be a basic question, I was wondering if anyone would recommend a good starting place for potential NDLTD participants. We would like to go through the correct channels and make sure our data is prepared appropriately for consortia work.
