How do other universities handle name changes on theses after the student has graduated?

Name changes after (or before) the thesis are nowadays no problem anymore.

The faculty has just to declare that manuscripts are only accepted if the
author has registered by the international scientific author
identification registry, namely ORCiD: http://orcid.org
This is unambigously, allows the author to change his/her name anytime,
aquire psydonyms, marry with name change, have different spellings in
different languages, change spellings over time etc.

Why do I cite these early references? Because the euroscientist journal
has dropped all volumes earlier than 2015.
