American University Library currently has an opening for a full-time Resource Description Specialist . 

The Resource Description Specialist is responsible for copy-cataloging materials in multiple formats and contributing to Resource Description Unit projects. Additionally, this position is responsible for administering the Electronic Theses and Dissertations submission program, including serving as the campus administrator for the ProQuest ETD Administrator system, providing formatting assistance to students, and working directly with representatives from AU's various schools and colleges to facilitate the submission workflow. The successful candidate for this position will have excellent interpersonal skills and the desire and ability to work well with students and cross-departmental teams. Additional skill requirements include excellent problem-solving skills, eye for detail, customer service skills, and presentation skills.
