De Gruyter + ETDs

Hello all,

Does anyone have any experience with ETD authors publishing with De Gruyter? I got a call from a graduate who read the language from her publishing contract, which seems to indicate that an OA ETD is considered prior publication. I'm doing some more sleuthing and am considering reaching out to De Gruyter, but I thought I would solicit any experiences from this group as well.
