YLND Explore Michiana!  Join us for the YLND Maple Tree Tapping Event! Saturday, February 20th 10:00 am-12:00 pm Bendix Woods We are coming together to volunteer and help tap trees! Experienced sugar-makers will take you out into the woods and show you how to tap maple trees and hang sap tubes to collect sap. This activity is outdoors, so be sure to dress for the weather. Register with the parks by February 16th Register by calling Bendix Woods 574-654-3155 and let us know you are going on our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/events/1113611965743249/ Elbel Golf Course Free Hike Take advantage of the beautiful winter weather and hike Elbel Golf Course's wooded uplands. A minimum of 10 hikers will be needed, please call and reserve your spot at 574-235-9455. Please wear boots, warm clothing and a mask as we honor distancing requirement.
