Hello everyone,

SPI is co-sponsoring this event. Please feel free to take advantage of this networking and professional development opportunity. There are plenty of spaces still available.

All the best,

Hi SPI,

My name is Michelle Wang, and on Thursday November 7th between 12 noon and 5 pm we are holding a great new professional development event "What to do with your Ph.D." which has been organized in partnership between the BGSO and Career Services. The event will be held on the 5th floor of the Duncan Student Center. This is a special opportunity to hear from guests speaking about their experiences in government, industry and academia. Given the breadth of individuals at our event, we really believe this event can impact a larger audience other than just the biology department, and was hoping to have it circulated for the greater graduate student population. Please let me know if you have any questions.

IMPORTANTLY: Students can select which sessions to attend. To register, you are not obligated to attend the entire afternoon! If you register, a free lunch is provided! Coffee and beverages available throughout the event as well. Also, you can also sign up to meet the panelists, who are listed on the full event schedule (linked below). There are also opportunities to moderate the sessions and meet the panelists.

Thank you for your time and have a wonderful day.

Very best,
Michelle
