This week's email includes information about summer opportunities for engaging in discussions on teaching and learning


Summer Professional Development Courses for       Graduate Students

ND Summer Sessions offers a suite of for-credit graduate courses taught by Notre Dame faculty. These courses are eligible for Tuition Scholarships from the Graduate School and since some are taught completely online, students may take them from anywhere in the world with a reliable internet connection. To enroll, graduate students should follow the procedures outlined by the Graduate School. 

These courses are covered by a summer tuition scholarship by filling out this form. 

Please register as soon as possible. Courses that do not meet the necessary enrollment (10 students) will be canceled.

  • Academic Writing
    • GRED 60500, Scientific Writing
    • GRED 68002, Article Accelerator Manuscript Preparation Practicum
  • Academic Presentations
    • GRED 60015, STEM Communication - Effective Speaking and Oral Presentation


Summer Reading Groups 

The Kaneb Center will be sponsoring teaching and learning reading groups this summer. Here are our recommended reads:

  • Skim, Dive, Surface: Teaching Digital Reading by Jenae Cohn
