Call for Papers – Special Session on Intelligent Transportation Systems (IEEE CASE 2026)

Dear Colleagues,

We are organizing a Special Session entitled “Modeling, Control, and Optimization of Intelligent Transportation Systems” for the 2026 IEEE 22nd International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering (IEEE CASE 2026), August 17–21, 2026, in Shenyang, China (https://2026.ieeecase.org/). The deadline for specail session full paper submission is Mar. 1, 2026.

This special session aims to bring together researchers to discuss new modeling, control, and optimization methods for intelligent transportation systems. It welcomes both theoretical and applied studies that address challenges in automation, safety, and performance. The goal is to promote cross-domain collaboration and highlight scalable, robust, and practical solutions for next-generation transportation.

If you are interested in contributing to our special session, please send the tentative title, list of authors and Abstract of your paper to Dr. Yin Tong (Email: yin...@swjtu.edu.cn) by Feb. 5, 2026. Once the session is appoved by the program committee, we will share with you the session code required to your paper submssion.
