Weird problem: I’m subscribed to this list, but can’t tell—even from SMTP headers—what address it’s from. list...@nd.edu doesn’t respond (or bounce). So I’m seeing if this goes through.
It came through to me.

Yep, I saw it too. No idea how phs3stuff was subscribed: that address didn’t exist until a few months ago, and I can’t even send from it by default (deliberately—it’s one of my catch-all mailboxes). After much futzing around, I decided to unsub phs3stuff and resub as lists, which I’ve now done.
Google Groups is pretty grim: searching “All lists” for ispf-l-list finds only bit.listserv.ispf-l. Googling for ispf-l-list finds https://groups.google.com/a/nd.edu/g/ispf-l-list , however, with a nice “Join” button, so I did that. Then Google Groups didn’t send a confirmation email, and going back to “My groups” *didn’t show it* until I did a page refresh. But now it shows. Welcome to 1995!
I suspect a lot of this weirdness is because the list is sort of through nd.edu but hosted by Google, but still, someone isn’t paying attention to usability.
Anyway, I now return you to the (pretty quiet) ISPF discussion. Mayhap this record will help someone in future who is having a similar problem.
