Job Opportunity:

Position: Natural Resources Biologist (Wildlife Biologist) - Wildlife Bureau

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking dedicated individuals committed to protecting Iowa's natural resources and providing citizens with recreational opportunities. We currently have one opening for a Wildlife Biologist at the Grand River Wildlife Unit in Kellerton, Iowa. As the Wildlife Unit Biologist, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration and resource management of our Wildlife Unit. Your role will involve coordinating activities of unit personnel, planning public area management, and annual project schedules. Additionally, you will monitor expenditures, work performance, and policy compliance.

Grand River Wildlife Management Unit, 2991 State Highway 2, Kellerton, IA 50133

Hours: 8:00 - 4:30 M-F, occasional extended hours, overnight travel and weekends
