Good morning,

Did you see the parade last night?  It was a hit parade put on by your Varsity softball team at Oak St. fields at the expense of the Marshfield Pirate pitching as the Bulldogs bashed 13 hits and 15 runs to sink the Pirates 15-5 in 4 1/2 innings.  Erica McClintock hit her first career home run as she was 3 for 3 with 4 runs scored and 4 RBI's.  Rowan Hampton damaged the Pirate ship from both ends pitching the distance and hitting 3 for 4 and 3 RBIs.  After being down 4-1 the Bulldogs began their parade in the bottom of the 3rd scoring 5 runs.  Then starting the 4th inning with 2 quick outs the Bulldogs regrouped and put up a 9 spot on Marshfield pitching.  Your Bulldogs ended the inning hitting 4 consecutive 2 out 2 strike pitches with RBI base knocks, started by Hailey Rinderle and followed up by Chloe Patton, Marissa McClintock, and finished by Erica.   Next up is a double header vs MHS Thursday at Marshfield's ESD field with game times at 3 and 5 pm.
