Dear Colleagues,

Are you a flow cytometrist wishing you had spatial context for your cell populations? Or are you a microscopist or histologist frustrated by the 2-3 marker limit of traditional immunofluorescence?

If so, we invite you to join us for a special presentation on the MACSima™ System, an innovative platform that bridges the gap between high-parameter data and spatial resolution.

Speaker: Bernd Müller-Zülow
Executive Senior Expert – Imaging & Microscopy, Miltenyi Biotec

Date: Thursday, February 26

Time: 11:00 AM

Location: Vinicna 7, Room B3 (Fotochemie)

Why MACSima?
The MACSima platform enables fully automated, ultra-high content imaging. By utilizing a cyclic immunofluorescence approach, it allows researchers to map hundreds of markers on a single tissue section or cell sample without destroying the tissue.

Key Features & Applications:

True Spatial Biology: Visualize the exact location and interaction of countless cell types within the tissue microenvironment.

Unprecedented Multiplexing: Break past the standard fluorescent limits to map dozens or even hundreds of markers on a single sample.

Broad Applications: Ideal for deep phenotyping in immuno-oncology (mapping the tumor microenvironment), neuroscience, and complex infectious diseases.

End-to-End Workflow: From sample preparation to advanced, AI-driven data analysis.

Beyond just an educational seminar, we hope this presentation will serve as the starting point for a broader discussion regarding new technology acquisition here at the Faculty of Science. Your insights and specific research needs will be incredibly valuable as we consider bringing this level of spatial biology capability to our campus.

Please feel free to forward this invitation to any lab members or colleagues who might benefit from this technology.

We look forward to an engaging presentation and a productive discussion!

Best regards,
