Dear Colleague,
Let us invite you to a two-day course, From Animal Handling to Data: Imaging Facilities in Preclinical Research 2026, held 8–9 September 2026 at the Krč campus, Vídeňská 1083, Prague 4.
The course is organized jointly by the IPHYS Bioimaging Facility, ISI Brno, and UEM Imaging Facility (AV ČR) under Czech-BioImaging and Euro-BioImaging. The course introduces researchers to how preclinical imaging facilities can support animal-based research — from proper animal handling to hands-on multimodal imaging, guiding you through the ethical principles or introducing two-photon and three-photon microscopy, label-free imaging methods (SHG, THG, CARS), high-field MRI, and FLIM, all illustrated with real case studies. In addition, the course brings together experts from Czech facilities as well as from abroad to share their knowledge.
Who should consider attending: PhD students, postdocs, and PIs interested in incorporating in vivo imaging into their research, or seeking networking and experience-sharing with other groups conducting in vivo experiments. No prior experience needed.
