Hi students (primarily PhD but also interested
masters)!
This autumn Joern Gerchen, postdoctoral researcher from
our Dept will lead a hands-on course on making
reproducible pipelines for various bioinformatic purposes
(details in the attached flyer). The course will teach broader
concepts useful for streamlining
diverse bioinformatic tasks, making it a
sufficiently broad course for any student or ecology and
evolution interested in tips and tricks on how to work
efficiently in setting workflows for large data analysis.
If you are interested, please sign-up for it in SIS (MB120P12
- Current approaches in plant ecology and evolution), the
capacity will be restricted to 20 participants. The course
will be organised in a 3-day block within the winter exam
period (details will be sent to enrolled students).
Feel free to ask (me or directly Joern) about further
details on the course.
Best!
Filip & Joern
