The University of Maryland has established a new Artificial Intelligence
Interdisciplinary Institute (AIM; https://aim.umd.edu/) and plans to hire
40 open-rank faculty members with expertise in artificial intelligence.

These new hires will contribute to various departments across the
university, focusing on various research areas, including animal science,
sustainability, climate, food security, agriculture, and aquaculture. The
job advertisement has been posted, with a best consideration date of
December 13, 2024 (https://ejobs.umd.edu/postings/124144).
