We are happy to announce that the first call for EVIM-NET Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) is now open.
STSMs support short research visits to another institution to learn new techniques, access facilities, and develop collaborations across evolutionary biology, immunology, bioinformatics, and animal/veterinary sciences (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkHg45tLvOM), all related to our COST Action. Each mission can receive up to €4,000 in funding.
Key dates:
• Call opens: 05 March 2026
• Application deadline: 03 April 2026
• Decision communication: 24 April 2026
• Missions can take place: 24 April – 31 August 2026
We particularly encourage PhD students and young postdoctoral researchers to apply, although the call is open to researchers at all career stages.
Full details on eligibility,
application procedures, and required documents are available

Please keep in mind that all documentations should be also sent by email to the Grant Awarding Coordinator, Stela Papa (stela...@fshn.edu.al) and to our Action Chair doc. RNDr. Michal Vinkler, Ph.D. (michal....@natur.cuni.cz).
