Good evening fellow NAMCA Members,
Happy New Year!

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to share some exciting updates and extend my heartfelt congratulations to Arlington Academy of Hope.

Firstly, I am thrilled to announce progress in education and rural agricultural development initiatives:

a) My wife and I have spearheaded the construction of Walter Rodney Nursery and Elementary School in Manafwa district, located in Mayenze Town council. This endeavor aims to enhance education standards in the region, and the school is named after the esteemed Caribbean black intellectual, Walter Rodney, who made significant contributions to education in East Africa. Residents of Mayenze, Bubulo, and Kufu are welcome to visit the school (attached is a picture for reference).

b) On a personal note, I have successfully completed my Ph.D. in Agricultural Education and Studies, specializing in program monitoring, evaluation, and learning (picture). I have established Timbiti Research and Evaluation Consultants in Uganda, focusing on the research and evaluation of climate change intervention programs. I invite those in need of evaluation services to reach out to me for assistance.

c) Recognizing the need for improved rural livelihoods, particularly in goat management, I have initiated the Busano Rural Livelihood and Transformation Center in Sironko District. This center offers training in enhanced goat management practices, with a focus on boer and local goat breeding. Individuals interested in goat management and other agricultural projects are encouraged to contact me for consultations.

I extend my sincere appreciation to all members for their contributions to the development of our region. Together, we are making meaningful strides towards positive change and transformation.

Thank you for your ongoing support and encouragement.

Warm regards,

Dear John and Joyce and team,

Happy New Year and congratulations 🎉

We have always been proud of you and your team Arlington Academy for the great work you started to educate our young people in Bududa.

This news of the excellent PLE results goes to show why God should continue to bless your exemplary family and ministry organization.

I envision 35 PHD holders from this group of PLE graduates. Can you imagine if they all determine to give back to Bududa, a Bamasaba region that has suffered much in the recent decades?

We pray for many more happy returns for the Academy 🙏

Sincerely Jennifer Favour (Rev)
