Simmons Club Gymnastics Shark Week Invitational

Simmons Gymnastics is hosting our first ever meet this year, the Shark Week Invitational! This is our third year as a club (2nd official) and we look forward to hosting for the first time and making this monumental step for our university. Welcome and good luck!!

• Date: Saturday, February 22nd

• Check in: 11:00 AM

• Warm Ups: 11:30 AM

• March In: 12:15 PM

• First event warm ups before march in, begin around 12:00 PM

• Estimated End Time: 6:30 PM 

• **ROUGH estimate, can change based on number of teams/judges

• Location: Fliptastics Gymnastics - 296 Summer St, Fitchburg MA, 01420

• Gym is possibly relocating to a new facility very soon (just one street over). The move is likely happening after our meet, but we just want teams to be aware.

• Level 8 

• NAIGC Registration

• Register teams and events on the NAIGC website under “Meet Registration,” but do NOT pay here

• 8 routines per event per team, top 3 scores count per event

• Waivers: All team members and coaches MUST fill out the waiver to be on the competition floor.

• Payment

• We will send each team, upon their registration to the NAIGC website, an email confirming their amount due. We can issue an invoice if requested. 

• To pay, please address a check to Simmons University with Simmons Gymnastics in the memo line

• Mail check as soon as possible to 300 The Fenway, Boston 02115

• Please email us when check is sent out so we know to expect it

• Will your check be mailed after 2/22? Please email us and we may be able to have you pay with cash/check at the meet

• Team registration fee, if registered ON/BEFORE 2/14: $135

• Team registration fee, if registered BETWEEN 2/14-2/19: $140

• No registration AFTER 2/19

• Clubs welcome to enter more than 1 team

• Individual registration fee, if registered ON/BEFORE 2/14: $40

• Individual registration fee, if registered BETWEEN 2/14-2/19: $45

• We plan to have a physical therapist present for medical needs

• Meet is NAIGC sanctioned, so we will have awards for both levels

• Parking: Full parking lot with free parking

• Possible Fundraisers: Small bake sale, good luck announcement grams, 50/50 raffle, Simmons Gymnastics apparel orders
