Sometimes I like to go for bird-listening walks in a park where there are ticks.  Igloo is on the flea and tick preventative pill, but ticks still jump on him.  Is there anything I can spray on him that will keep the ticks away?  I have some cedar oil, but it didn’t work.  It may be old.

As I understand the pill, it stops any tick that bites him from reproducing, but it doesn’t stop the tick biting him and doesn’t help prevent any disease the tick might be carrying from infecting him.

While training in Morristown, New Jersey, we used a Frontline spray on not only the dogs legs, but our legs also. Because we were heading into a park that contained ticks. You definitely do not want to bring any ticks into your house, they can procreate and create a huge problem in your home.
