Hello everyone. On behalf of myself and the NAGDU board, we would like to wish everyone a happy and safe New Year. It is almost time for 2026, at least, here in the States.
As for Stacie and I personally, we are just hanging out at home, not going out. We have already hosted friends and family during Christmas and up to one day ago, and are happy to be alone where it is quiet of other people. Luckily, my dog doesn’t get nervous about fireworks, so there is nothing special to do there other than watch for any signs of stress. However, he is often exposed to loud booming music due to what I like to listen to, that loud sounds and subwoofer vibes are nothing new to him.
Take care, all.

“Blindness is a characteristic, not a handicap.”
The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
