Mushers Secret

I just ordered some Mushers Secret from Chewy. Do I put it on Igloo’s paws just before we go out? Do I have to worry about it when we arrive somewhere? Will he leave pawprints in the bakery, say? Or lick it off if I sit somewhere and have a cup of tea?

Hi Tracy. When I used it for Luna, because she hated her boots, I would put it on right as I was walking out the door so her leash and harness would be on s she stood on the doormat. Then I would use gentle leash tugs to keep her from licking and then she’d have to work anyway to get out the door, and it’s then pretty quickly absorbed. Fortunately though, it is safe for dog if they lick it so if Luna did lick some remainder off my hands, I figured at least she wasn’t licking it off her paws Hope that helps some.

Hi there-
I put it on my dog while he is lying down . It absorbs quickly and while I am preventing my dog from licking it, I get in a petting session or do some massage. It won’t stain and doesn’t leave marks on clothing and in fact is great for softening your own hands and feet, 😉
