Good day everyone,
Our website also hosts a list of links to general articles written by our members.
We are happy to share two news:1. News articleA new article written by our MyQI member, Prof. Jesni and a colleague from IIUM.
https://ipqc.iium.edu.my/discovering-new-uncertainties/2. Events for World Quantum DayThere are several events that will be held on the 14th April 2025, by our researchers. We have listed them on our website (www.myqi.my), held either in person, online and hybrid.Hope you will find these events interesting.

Good Day!
We are pleased to invite you to an upcoming session titled "Industrial Quantum Gravity Sensors: From Research Labs to Real-World Applications."
As quantum technology transitions from theoretical frameworks to tangible industrial tools, gravity sensors are emerging as a breakthrough for sectors ranging from civil engineering and mineral exploration to climate monitoring. This session will explore the journey of these high-precision instruments as they move beyond controlled laboratory environments into practical, real-world deployment.

Key Discussion Points
Presenter
Quantum physics experts in the instrumentation related to Absolute Quantum Gravimeter (AQG).
Vincent Ménoret (co-leader of the quantum instruments team) received his PhD from Université Paris-Sud in 2012 for his work on cold atom interferometry in parabolic flight campaigns.
He then joined Muquans (now part of EXAIL) shortly after the company was created and worked on the development of the Absolute Quantum Gravimeter, from the first-generation prototype to recent versions dedicated to measurements in field conditions. He also worked on high precision frequency transfer over optical fiber and on several developments of components and subsystems for photonics and quantum technologies. He then worked on several R&D activities related to quantum sensors at Exail and is now co-leader of the quantum instruments team with Camille Janvier.
We look forward to your participation in what promises to be an insightful discussion on the future of quantum sensing.
Best Regards,
Mun Kok Lim |
