Afterschool Parent's helper

We are looking for a kind, responsible parent's helper to help with our 8-year-old child after school. The main responsibility would be to be at our home from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on weekdays, ensuring that our child arrives home safely and stays comfortable until the parents return from work around 6 PM.
This is intended to be a relatively relaxed arrangement. The sitter is welcome to bring study materials or personal work and use the time productively while being present in the home. Snacks for our child (and for the sitter, if they’d like) will be available for easy access, and helping the child with snacks or light supervision would be appreciated.
We are looking for someone who is kind, caring, reliable, and able to provide good references. Having your own transportation would also be important.
The schedule could range from a few days a week to potentially every weekday, depending on availability and mutual fit. Hourly pay is negotiable and can be discussed.
