High School Student Summer Volunteer Opportunities at Goddard Visitor Center

The Goddard Visitor Center has in-person volunteer opportunities for high school students this summer! Opportunities include providing demonstrations and assisting with weekday programs and weekend events. If your student is at least 16 years old and is interested in volunteering at the visitor center, please have them email Amanda Harvey, public engagement coordinator, at amanda....@nasa.gov by Monday, June 9 at 5 p.m. Please tell them to include their name, age and grade during the 2024-2025 school year, as well as a short paragraph describing why they would be interested in volunteering. Students should anticipate a virtual interview on Friday, June 13 or Saturday, June 14, and, if selected for the volunteer program, will need to be available for a required training session on Saturday, June 21, 12 - 2 p.m.
