To implement x-ray fluorescence would require adding a new command into G4beamline, requiring C++ programming. I do not have time to do that.

Hello,

I'm new to G4bl and need help adding X-ray fluorescence. It's not in the documentation. Can I change the settings in Geant4 to make it work with G4bl?

Thank you.

Hello,

Following this exchange about fluo X generation in G4Beamline, in fact it is already working for a photon beam as shown on the attached pdf file.
Nevertheless, we did not managed to generate fluo X from the Bremsstrahlung  induced by an electron beam .

Cheers

Thank you for your answer. I found out that you can enable it by applying the following commands:

/process/em/fluo true /process/em/auger true /process/em/deexcitationIgnoreCut true

It seems to be working for me now.😁
