Alma Linux 9 Compatibility?

Hi everyone,

CERN has recently migrated its servers to Alma Linux 9. As a result, I am facing issues while using the older G4Beamline versions on HTCondor/Batch servers. Is there any workaround to use version 3.08 on the AL9 servers? Also, is there a new version being developed that will be compatible with AL9 servers?

Hi Ali,

If recompiling G4beamline from source code on Alma Linux 9 does not work for you for some reason, you can prepare a Docker image with G4beamline based on another Linux version or distribution.
