Blue Key Membership

Hello everyone!

I hope you are all doing well with finals quickly approaching!

I am reaching out to ask for some help regarding Winter Carnival. Blue Key has a significantly low amount of members and we are in need of some members to join to help make Winter Carnival run as smoothly as possible. As most of you probably know, Winter Carnival is run almost entirely by students(with the help of some gracious faculty and staff) and it can be a large task to handle when there is a small amount of students to help out. With less students involved, certain events may not be held to their fullest potential and we do not want to degrade anyone's Winter Carnival experience.

With that said, we are seeing if anyone is willing to join Blue Key! It is an amazing experience to be able to contribute to one of the largest Tech Traditions and there are many benefits to joining such as learning valuable leadership skills, improving on professional communication, and joining a group of dedicated students that are working towards a common goal: creating an amazing event for students, staff, and community members! The more members we have, the easier it is for every task to be completed with ease. 

There are a couple requirements to join such as a second year standing (in the 2023-24 school year) and a minimum GPA of 3.0. Also, the time commitment would not be too large and it can fit into anyone's schedule regardless of you major.
