2024 Royalty Competition Entry Form

Welcome! We are excited to have you apply for candidacy for the 2024 Winter Carnival Royalty Competition! Before filling out the following form, please be aware of some of your duties and time commitments as a candidate. This form will close at 5pm on November 3rd. Preliminary interviews will be held on Saturday, December 2nd in Wads 138W. If you are not selected by the judges to be a finalist, your responsibilities will end at this time. If you are selected as a finalist, you will have the opportunity to meet and work with many new people. You must also realize that there is a sizable time commitment to be met with this position, especially during the month of January. The entire process of interviews, luncheons, rehearsals, and Carnival Week appearances can be very exciting, but also very time consuming. We feel that the time commitment is a very important factor, and is something that should be seriously considered before submitting an application. The finalists meeting on Thursday, December 7th at 7pm, will more fully explain the duties and time commitments of the finalists. We recommend that you read over the Royalty section of the Winter Carnival Rulebook, which can be accessed through your sponsoring organization. You will be notified the week before Thanksgiving Break of your interview time and location.
