University Archivist Named to the Historical Society of Michigan Board

University Archivist Lindsay Hiltunen was recently elected a trustee to the Historical Society of Michigan's Board of Directors. Her term began on Saturday, at the society's annual Michigan History Conference, which took place virtually this year. She will serve a three-year term in this capacity.

The Historical Society of Michigan, the state’s oldest cultural organization, helps to connect Michigan’s past to students, educators, historical organizations, and the public through educational programs, conferences, publications, awards, workshops, referral services, networking opportunities, and support for local history organizations.
