Good afternoon ASPEN members, and all social science undergraduate and graduate students!

I hope this email finds everyone in the remote MTU community of social science students well and in good health and good spirits!

My name is Jacob Slattery and I am the President of ASPEN, the Association of Students for People, the Environment and Nature. ASPEN is a student chapter of the International Association for Society and Natural Resources, an interdisciplinary collaboration of students, researchers, academics, and community leaders working on a wide range of issues broadly involving contested areas and topics between human beings and the natural world. I am opening nominations for new e-board members beginning today. Usually this email is sent to current members of our organization, but we are looking for broader interests and membership in both our undergraduate and graduate student networks. If you think you would like to be a member of this student chapter, join! If you think you would fit into a leadership role in this student group, or know someone else, please nominate yourself or others!

NOTE: I have a setting enabled if you wish to complete the form again in case you wish to make another nomination. If for some reason this doesn't work then please email me your nominations (jpsl...@mtu.edu) and I will notify you that I have received it.

We have 4 e-board positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Nominations will be open until Friday May 15. Each nominee will be notified shortly thereafter of their nomination and must either accept or pass on their nominations. Once I have collected all nominees we will conduct the election shortly.
