Date and Time Reported: 7th April 2015, 13:45 hrs

Date and Time Resolved: 7th April 2015, 14:00 hrs

 

Services Affected: Internet access on campus was unavailable.

 

Impact: Staff/Students

 

Resolution Description: The Internet outage today was due to the border firewall being overloaded by some diagnostic tests being run by 3rd party vendor engineers.  The security team rebooted the firewall and Internet access was restored.

 

Description: All staff and students were unable access any internal and external websites.
