Planned IT maintenance window - Sunday 6 November 2016 and Dec/Jan change freeze

Dear Faculty General Managers and IT Managers,

 

Scheduled IT maintenance is taking place on Sunday 6 November from 6am to 10am. Faculty IT representatives should forward this information within your Faculty/Office to advise your colleagues.

  • 6am - 7am - As part of continuing infrastructure upgrades, work is taking place to upgrade the backup connection to the Internet, there is no impact to systems or services.
  • 8.30am - 10am - OneNet WiFi, wired network, telephones and Cardax access will be unavailable in building 29 Wally's Walk (X5B).

December and January change freeze

There will be a freeze on all changes from COB 12 December 2016 until COB 13 January 2017 due to the 18 December 2016 maintenance window and the Christmas/New Year period.

Please raise relevant CRs by COB 1 December so they can be reviewed/approved in time for the window. Also update the December planned maintenance window Wiki page with details of the change.
