to Priority One Announcements
Hi All,

We have encountered an issue subscribing the Priority One email group help....@mq.edu.au to Macquarie University's IT Status Page (http://itstatus.mq.edu.au), as the whole group is removed if one person unsubscribes from notifications.

To rectify this individuals from the Priority One list will be subscribed to status page notifications instead. A subscription notification will be sent shortly where you will be able to manage your individual subscription, by unsubscribing you are opting out of being informed when an IT system or service is experiencing reduced performance, or has a partial/major outage.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Best regards,
Amy

Good afternoon,

You have received this email as you are part of the Priority One email group help....@mq.edu.au. Notifications are sent to this group to notify about unscheduled downtimes to priority IT systems and services, which impact staff and students.

Macquarie University's IT Status Page (http://itstatus.mq.edu.au) launched yesterday (Monday 25 May 2015). Hosted externally, staff and students can now instantly view a status page in real time to see which IT systems and services are operational, have a degraded performance, or are experiencing a partial or major outage.

As part of the status page features, when an incident occurs the IT HelpDesk are able to push notifications via the status page. Staff and students who subscribe also have the option to receive these notifications via email, SMS, webhook, Twitter, Atom feed or RSS feed.

From this afternoon you will be automatically subscribed to receive IT system downtime notifications via help....@mq.edu.au, these automatic notifications will come from he...@mq.edu.au.

If you currently receive Priority One SMS notifications, these will also be automated from the status page. Notifications will be sent from: +1 (650) 204-3125, we recommend saving this number as something recognisable such as 'MQ IT Status Updates'.

Membership to help....@mq.edu.au will continue to be managed by the IT HelpDesk. If you wish to opt out of email or SMS notifications, please call (02) 9850 4357, or email he...@mq.edu.au.

Best regards,

Amy
