Hi everyone,

For the past several years Sylvestre and I have been maintaining the Firefox Source Docs infrastructure on a quasi volunteer basis. Documentation is incredibly important and we believe official ownership here can help us move our documentation infrastructure towards a better place.

This module will encompass the infrastructure around the documentation, such as the |mach doc| frontend, Sphinx-based build system and the bucket that hosts the website. Neither of us are technical writers so this module does not include the content of the docs themselves (though we reserve the right to express opinions in the name of consistency).

Name: Core :: Firefox Source Documentation

Description: The infrastructure platform used to generate Firefox's source documentation, excluding editorial control over the content.

Owner: Andrew Halberstadt

Peer(s): Sylvestre Ledru

Source Dir(s): docs/, tools/moztreedocs/

Bugzilla Component: Developer Infrastructure :: Source Documentation

Let me know if anyone has questions or concerns. Absent any, I plan to update the wiki next week.

Thanks,

Andrew & Sylvestre
