I'm proposing a new module for Firefox to cover the platform-specific geolocation layer.

The module will cover the platform-specific portions of the geolocation implementation, specifically the Windows, Linux, and macOS code that interfaces with system geolocation APIs including UI for opening system-specific location permissions.

David Parks will be the owner of the module with peers Stephen Pohl, Thinker Li, Kagami Rosylight, and Jan-Niklas Jäschke.

The change will be made on bug 2064937.
