[PingCentre Replacement] Firefox Desktop Messaging System Onboarding Data Switchover Day: Monday, November 20

Hello,
For analyses of Onboarding data in Looker there is NO ACTION NEEDED: the data will be changed over for you. For more details, feel free to read on.
Starting Monday, November 20, the derived datasets that power most Messaging System onboarding analyses and dashboards will become powered by Glean-sent data instead of PingCentre-sent data. This is because PingCentre-sent data was found to be subject to data loss and has been deprecated for use since October 13.
This switchover will be transparent to consumers of all Messaging System onboarding data in Looker including Event Counts and of other datasets derived from the `onboarding` view including `event_types`.
The only differences you should observe are a slight increase in data quality and that release data begins July 4, 2023.
Other analyses of Messaging System data may require action to keep working. A separate email will be sent to affected users titled “[PingCentre Replacement] [ACTION NEEDED] Migrating SQL analyses of Messaging System data” with instructions.
