Relevant for anyone working on Firefox Desktop or Firefox for Android
(and using Glean for data collection):

Summary:
For Firefox Desktop we will now warn about expiring metrics 2 versions
ahead instead of just one, giving you the same amount of time as
before to renew or remove your metric.

Details:
Previously we sent out emails and automatically filed bugs about
metrics that expire in the next version of Firefox. This task ran
every week, thus giving you up to 4 weeks to act on an upcoming expiry
and make a decision to remove or extend a metric.
Project Metronome now reduces Firefox’s release cycle to 2 weeks.
We therefore will run the expiry checks for 2 versions into the
future, giving you the same 4 week timespan to act on it.

If you have any questions regarding telemetry & data collection don't
hesitate to ask in #data-help or #glean on Slack or #glean on Matrix.
