Lost access to Bugzilla account

Hello Firefox-devs!

I used to do occasional contributions to firefox desktop browser (telemetry, translations) as a volunteer some time ago. I'd like to "resurrect" my contributions but it turns out that I cannot login to bugzilla anymore. I set up 2-factor auth back then, but have neither access to my old smartphone, nor the file with the recovery codes. I'm stuck in a "password reset" loop now. I can reset my password, because I have access to my email address, but I cannot login with the new pass because MFA fails. Is there any way to get my account back? Or creating a new one is the only option?

Typing this email feels wrong, because the text totally reads like a fishing/social engineering attempt to steal an account. But it is in fact my own account I am trying to "break" back in. I am reaching out to this maillist because I could not find an appropriate channel for this kind of support and I imagine I am not the only "dev" ever locked out of their account. I hope somebody here can give me a kick into the right direction.
