Configuring Firefox with GPO, Configuration of "BlockAboutSupport" and "BlockAboutAddons" is not possible

Hi All,

we manage Firefox configuration on windows clients with GPO.

After importing the ADMX files to the AD, some of the policies e.g. "BlockAboutSupport" and "BlockAboutAddons" can’t be configured, because they aren’t displayed in Group Policy Management.

The ADMX files seem to be correct.

 

Does anybody know the reasons for this behavior?

Hello,

 

With the en-US adml, they’re called :

Block Troubleshooting Information

and

Block Add-ons Manager

 

If you have it in german (de-DE), I supposed it’s :

Zugriff auf Informationen zur Fehlerbehebung verhindern (for BlockAboutSupport)

and

Zugriff auf Add-ons Manager verhindern (for BlockAboutAddons)

 

(You can see all that by reading the .adml file with a text editor)

And note these are sorted by default by an internal name (per Microsoft), so you might need to sort yourself to find them.
