Sync bookmarks with local folder (settings via GPO)

Hi,

we use these seetings in user.js to sync personal bookmarks in Firefox with an personal folder our employees.

 

user_pref("browser.bookmarks.file", "J:\\Firefox\\Bookmarks");

user_pref("browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML", true);

user_pref("browser.places.importBookmarksHTML", true);

 

This works fine. But these three settings are the only ones in user.js. We would like to handle all settings via GPO (Windows Policies), so user cannot change such settings.

Here I do not found any possibilities for these settings:

Is there any other way or should I create a ticket via bugtracker?

 

I think it makes sense if there were a way to set these settings via GPO-config “preferences”.

You can set any prefs that begin with browser.* with the preferences policy:

https://mozilla.github.io/policy-templates/#preferences
